here's what I think... 1.29.10  •  Personal

My 'emergency card drawer' has officially gotten out of hand. My latest trip to Paperchase tipped it over the edge. People think I am addicted to bags and shoes but I'm not! I'm addicted to the notion that some day there is going to be a last minute special occasion that I won't have a card for! There are well over 100 cards in the drawer and while I can appreciate Andy's comment "When do you think we are going to need a single 'it's party time' card?", I can't help but look at them lovingly and KNOW that one day they will find their place in the world.

My new favourites are my glittering panda 3d cards. They are special - if you get one of these from me then you are special. I also have dozens of cards saying 'I love you' on them. I'm not sure who all these loved people are yet but again, if you get one of these you are special.

I have one sister card but two sisters. I have three 'I love you sexy' magnet birthday cards but only one husband. I have birthday cards for every type of person I know - men, women, partiers, shopaholics, oldies, babies, relatives and even the 'fantastic old fart' in my life. One of these days I am going to do a mass clear-out and every single person I know will receive a random card in the post. How brilliant would that be?!

Emma Bunton is ruining Dancing on Ice for me. She knows nothing. And why do they keep asking for her opinion? She just talks about the boys and their 6-packs and then says some couger-type things that make me cringe and you can see the repulsion on Jason's face. Last week she said something like, "That was the best 2nd performance we have ever seen!". WE?? WE?? You have only been a judge for 3 weeks, how would you know? Grr.

Still love Fred though.

In order to get him into the house, Vinnie was told by the producers of BB that he would win. They gave him tips, taught him how to stay on the good side of the housemates, how to entertain the viewing public. It was all going swimmingly until he got a little bit cocky...that's what I think anyway.

My mother-in-law rocks. Hot on the heels of my 'bombshell decision' to become a Vegan she researched it and got busy making me yummy food and providing me with recipes. Her vegan stew is simply amazing. I also have a father-in-law. He never makes me food, but he did complain that he was never on the blog so here it is. HI SAM!

Alec Baldwin is so funny. There's something hilarious about his big square head - 30 Rock is one of our favourite shows. On Sunday we inadvertently ended up watching "It's Complicated", and it was actually quite funny in parts. Not too much old people lovin' = major plus point for me.

The ipad was made for people like me who have huge handbags with nothing but a purse and an iphone rattling about in the bottom of them. Steve Jobs saw me one day walking up the town with my head stuck inside my bag, trying to find my phone, and he thought, "Wow, that poor girl with her big bag and small phone debacle. I shall make that girl a larger phone so that she can find it more easily. But it won't actually have phone capabilities...".

Thanks Steve!
